I currently have the ad-supported hosting, and I think it is worth it to put a little affiliate button on the side, or a small banner on the bottom of web pages. Also if you combine their subdomains with a free sub-domain service like smartdots (.net.tc and other .tc domains) or freedomain.co.nr, you will have a professional-looking domain name for free.
